Ministry of Education India

The Ministry of Education, formerly known as the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), is a government ministry of India responsible for the development and implementation of policies related to education in India.

The ministry is responsible for formulating and implementing policies related to school education, higher education, technical education, language development, and adult education. It also oversees the functioning of various autonomous organizations such as the University Grants Commission (UGC), the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
